The MediQuiz application is owned by Frontfolks, which acts as the data controller.

2. Data collected

The application may process the following information:

  • username,

  • email address (if the user chooses to log in),

  • quiz answers, progress, statistics, and streak (days of continuous activity).

  • device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID) for advertising and analytics,
  • purchase tokens and transaction status (for in-app purchases).

For users who do not log in, progress data is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to any server.

3. Purpose of data processing

Data is processed for the following purposes:

  • enabling login and account functionality,

  • saving progress and statistics,

  • analyzing user activity to improve the application’s performance and experience.

4. Data storage and processors

  • Firebase (Google LLC): Data is stored and processed using Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore services provided by Google LLC.
    Firebase ensures encrypted communication and secure data storage.

  • Google AdMob: For delivering advertisements.

Frontfolks does not share user data with any third parties.

5. Data security

All data transmission is secured via HTTPS.
Only authorized personnel have access to stored information, and Firebase uses strong encryption and authentication mechanisms.

6. Data deletion

Users can:

  • delete local progress data from their device at any time,

  • delete their account, which will permanently remove all related data from Firebase servers.

7. Availability and audience

This application is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
MediQuiz is designed primarily for students and individuals interested in medical knowledge.
The app is available globally but currently offered only in the Polish language.

8. Ads and in-app purchases

  • Ads: Google AdMob may collect and use advertising IDs (e.g., Android Advertising ID) and other technical data to provide personalized or non-personalized ads and for analytics.

  • Purchases: All financial transactions are handled securely by Google Play. We do not store or process your credit card or bank information on our servers. Google provides us only with confirmation of successful transactions to unlock digital content.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the app or applicable laws.
Users will be notified of significant updates through app updates or notifications.
